1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using ET Domains ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. ET Domains reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance.
2. Service Description
ET Domains is a proxy registration service for Ethiopian (.et) domain names. We automate domain registration, renewal, and DNS management through EthioTelecom's domain portal on your behalf. We are not a domain registrar — we facilitate registration through the official Ethiopian telecommunications authority.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- One person or legal entity may maintain only one account.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Wallet & Payments
- All prices are denominated in US Dollars (USD).
- Wallet deposits are accepted via cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC).
- Deposits are credited after manual confirmation by our team. Processing time is typically under 24 hours.
- Exchange rates are determined at the time of deposit confirmation using live market data.
- Wallet balances are non-transferable and cannot be withdrawn as fiat currency or cryptocurrency.
- We reserve the right to freeze accounts suspected of fraudulent activity.
5. Domain Registration
- Domain availability is checked in real-time but is not guaranteed until registration is confirmed.
- Registration is automated through EthioTelecom's portal and typically completes within 5 minutes.
- If registration fails, a full refund is automatically credited to your wallet.
- Domain registrations are subject to EthioTelecom's policies and naming rules.
- ET Domains is not liable for domains rejected by EthioTelecom due to policy violations.
- Domain registration periods are annual (1 year) unless otherwise specified.
6. Domain Renewal
- Renewal reminders are sent at 30, 7, and 1 day(s) before expiration.
- Renewals must be initiated by the account holder through the dashboard.
- We do not auto-renew domains. Expired domains may become available for public registration.
- ET Domains is not responsible for expired domains that are registered by third parties.
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Register domains for the purpose of reselling or cybersquatting.
- Engage in phishing, malware distribution, or other illegal activities.
- Circumvent rate limits or abuse automated systems.
- Impersonate individuals, organizations, or government entities.
- Violate Ethiopian telecommunications laws or regulations.
8. Limitation of Liability
ET Domains is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service, including but not limited to: domain registration failures due to EthioTelecom outages, loss of domain due to non-renewal, cryptocurrency value fluctuations, or unauthorized account access. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon termination, active domains remain registered until their expiration date but cannot be managed through our platform.
